I am an avid daydreamer.  I believe it’s good for the soul.  And in the spirit of full disclosure, I admit that my daydreams are filled with outfits.  Yes, my family and friends are an integral part of my daydreams, but my jewels, my clothes and the places I would be are the protagonists.  I dream of cozying up to my husband as we watch the children frolicking on the beach in Ibiza…while wearing a fabulous caftan and some gorgeous earrings!   This is my world, judge me if you will… If, however,  you care to join me in paradise, I offer you the islands of  my daydreams, and the jewellery that was born as a result.  Go ahead, dream away. The Fall 2012 shows have just wrapped up in the fashion world and while it is exciting to see what awaits us for Fall, I find myself craving the here and now.   And so I have decided to take my time to truly drink in what designers have put forth for Spring 2012, to revel in their vision and to interpret it for my lifestyle.  Allow me to share with you some of the gorgeous jewellery that was seen on the catwalk for Spring 2012…bold, whimsical, wearable (ok, maybe ‘wearable’  isn’t exactly the right term for Chanel’s ‘pearls-at-the-beach’ look , but like I said: interpretation is key!).

Good afternoon everyone!  Today I share with you my answer to the biggest question clients have concerning jewellery, which is how to integrate it into their everyday wardrobe.  And the answer is quite simple: as long as you have a crewneck, you have a winning combination!  It is the wardrobe staple, whether it be a basic cotton t-shirt or luxurious cashmere sweater.  It is the perfect backdrop to virtually any necklace style, and its round neckline allows you to go short or long, delicate or bold.  There are no limitations with crewnecks, which isn’t the case with other necklines such as v-necks and button-up shirts.  So have fun, pull out that crewneck and adorn yourselves with whatever necklaces tickle your fancy!  I’ve included a few examples in the photos above.  Just click to enlarge photo.  Enjoy!
